CDG rlelay - TAP Range and Curve needed

CDG rlelay - TAP Range and Curve needed

(OP)
Hello to everyone,
I need the allowable setting range for a CDG/SPE C3EG1466G relay along with its NI characteristic. I think that this is a  special version of the old CDG relays. Unhopefully, documentation is difficult to find for this type of relays. However, i wonder if anyone of you involved in distribution protection studies has come up with this relay model. I would be very grateful if he would provide me with the range and the characteristic required (both phase and earth units)...
Thank you,
Chris

RE: CDG rlelay - TAP Range and Curve needed

I think this is a Federal Pacific Electric (FPE)-made relay. I have encountered this type and model in the 70s and I doubt if relay curve are still available. Whoever took over FPE?

RE: CDG rlelay - TAP Range and Curve needed

These are GEC relays, I believe.  Contact Alstom.

There are CDG curves in EasyPower, but the numbers don't match anything you list.

ScottyUK has the best solution. Contact Areva in Stafford (formely Alstom / GEC and the manufacturer of this type of relay). Quote them the serial number and full type number and they should be able to help you out.

Good Luck.
