Quadro FX 4600 Vs 4500

(OP)
Hi All,

I have a small dilema.  Right now I am considering purchasing a graphics card for running Solidworks 2007 SP 2.2.  The candidates are a Quadro FX 4500 or a 4600.  My current system is a socket 939 with an AMD Opteron 185 2.6 GHz dual core processor, Win XP X64 and 4 gigs ram.

Right now I have a loaner Quadro Fx 4500 installed,  it seems to perform very well. However,  I am concerned that it will become outdated by the time I upgrade the rest of my hardware as well upgrade to Solidworks 2009.

Thanks

Mike

If the price doesn't differ much, it would be quite a no brainer me thinks... Also there is a previous thread on that choice.
