Anyone knows how to save a copy of an assembly on a different name but also save a copy of the associated drawing and changing also the model that is in the drawing. I used to work with Wildfire and I know that this is possible with pro-e but as far as Inventor I don't know yet.

Right Mouse Button the the .IDW file and select Design Assistant. You can make copies of all the files associated with the .idw in DA. Be sure that if you make any changes in the top level file (Usually the idw but if no idw exists use ipn or iam. Don't try to make changes from the bottom up always work top down. This will help to eliminate broken links).
