IGES....opening files

IGES....opening files

IGES....opening files

(OP)
Question:

I created an IGES file from a large Solidworks 2007 assy.  The IGES file is about 243MB's.  My question, I am sending via a CD to a company that has SolidEdge.  Does anyone know if they will have a problem to open it?

Thanks

RE: IGES....opening files

They should be able to open it. They may have better luck with .STL.
You can send both.

RE: IGES....opening files

Solidedge?  Try parasolid.  I believe SE is also parasolid kernel.  You will have more reliable results than w/ IGES.
