Improper mesh

Improper mesh

(OP)
I am doing a thermal analysis of an assembly using COSMOS DesignStar 3.0. The model meshes with no errors, but when I run the analysis I get a message that says "Improper mesh near element 16842". There is no visual indication of where the failure is located in the model. Is there a way to determine the location of element 16842 in the model? Does anyone have a suggestion of what to look for when you get this error message?

RE: Improper mesh

Maybe it's too late for you but I have got the same problem that I fixed by remeshing with a lower accuracy (2.5 % instead of 5%)
