Cable Mechanical Test Standard?

Cable Mechanical Test Standard?

Cable Mechanical Test Standard?

(OP)
Hi. We need to do comparative mechanical reliability qualification on a variety of USB and RS-232 cables. Testing would consist of flexure, twist, pull, impact, and possibly other methods. Is there a MIL, IEC, or other official standard that describes how this testing should be performed? I've poked around on the various standards sites, but haven't been able to come up with anything that seems suitable to these types of consumer interface cables. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Kindest regards...
