BOM

(OP)
HI,
I AM NEW WITH THIS FORUM AND NEED YOUR HELP IN A BOM MATTER.
I AM  WORKING FOR A WATER TRATMENT EQUIPMENT COMPANY AND WE ARE USING SW2007 4.0 AND A LOT OF ROUTING AND LIBRARY PARTS.
ONE OF THE REQUESTS IN THIS BRANCH IS THAT EVERY INSTRUMENT, VALVE, ETC TO HAVE ITS OWN PLACE IN A BOM BECAUSE EVERY ONE IS IDENTIFIED BY A TAG #.
DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN IDEA HOW I CAN DO THAT IN AN AUTOMATIC MANNER? bECAUSE RIGHT NOW IF I USE THE SAME VALVE TWICE IT WILL COME UP IN BOM WITH QTY 2 AND JUST ONCE HOW IS NORMALY TO BE. I NEED TO FIND A WAY TO BE LISTED TWICE (TWO ROWES IN THE BOM)WITH QTY 1.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP,
VIOLETA

RE: BOM

You could create configurations of the calling out the tag number, then reference these configs in your BoM.
