Posting whitepapers
Posting whitepapers
(OP)
I'd like to encourage / beg some of our regulars and MVPs to post some whitepapers!
Electricpete has some good stuff as links in some replies on threads. I know there are plenty others out there.
If we don't get a bit of a collection going here we're all stuck with having to join various societies and pay substantial fees to have access to lots of them, which are not very easily searched, and many/most in the regular journals simply are of no practical interest for our individual needs,,,, and not mind lots of run-on sentences.

I really do love the IEEE though.
Another option here is of course only having access to Adobe ads and the like under the thin guise of whitepapers, and not much else.

Me wrong? I'm just fine-tuning my sarcasm!

RE: Posting whitepapers
Should that be the case I would still suspect early or other drafts would still be possible to publish places like here without such violations. Wouldn't this be acceptable, even wise if done before submittal to the tech society involved?
I've followed links to papers posted on IEEEs website that appear to be available for public viewing by way of those links, but papers may only be browsed or searched by members.
It wasn't my specific intention to start a thread on legalities of posting papers published elsewhere, but am happy to learn a bit about this.
Thanks for your insights!
