Lines-Flip Bias, APDL

(OP)
Dear Friends,
I have some lines and I want to increase the size of elements in z direction. I am using solid 186 – 3D- 20 nodes.
Some lines (lsn5) have the bigger node number at top and other lines have the smaller node numbers at top (lbv2). How can I do the flip bias of lines in apdl?
I have used Lesize command as follow.

lesize,  lsn5,       ,       ,  8   ,  1/2
lesize,  lbv2,      ,       ,   8  ,  2

Generated mesh using these commands is good but locations of crated nodes at two sets of lines are not exactly at the same z locations and it cause problem for me at post processing.

regards
jalil

RE: Lines-Flip Bias, APDL

You can LREVERSE command to flip a line normal.  This will reverse the sizing scheme on the line as a result.  You will need to clear the existing mesh before reversing the line however and remesh.
