Hi some one can give guide me for the refinery flow calculations of different cuts and the raw feed is at 300000bpd ( light crude). If some one has a experience in flow daigram calculation s for the regular operation of the refinery?suggest me some books or from experience stuff please??

The book recommended by dcasto is a good one.

However, you must understand there is no such thing as a "standard refinery" ... they are all different.

You must also understand that there are many hundreds of different crude oils and each contains different amounts of the various cuts (naphtha, jet fuel, kerosene, diesel oil, fuel oil, etc.) ... and  that means that there are no standard sets of material balance calculations.

In my opinion, what you are looking for is not to be found by reading a few books. It just takes at least five years of experience working in the process design of refineries.

Hi, Mbeychok,
I know youare thinking other way round becouse i did not mention that i did work in saudia and different countries for soem time in refineries. as i am here now in US  i dont have acccess to my work in india as i left alll my work in india. so i am not neweto refinery and calculations and different crude s so it is not new to me but the  thing is i dont have access to my laptop and my soft ware calculations .and no timefor it  to redo it .
may be i hva eto redo it myself .

sorry for misunderstanding here.
i have a 10 yrs ofexperience inthis field and i am new tothis sit eos i am trying to reach my objective with limited time as i have alll thesoftwareand everything in india on mylaptop
