Where would one use Monel safety wire?

I'm familiar with stainless steel and inconel but the spec for safety wire - MS20995 also includes safety wire made from monel. Can't find anyone who has ever used it.

RE: Monel Safety Wire - where used

A bit off subject,
I use monel wire in a marine application for safety wiring anchor shackles.

What I've noticed about stainless steel safety wire is that it fatigue breaks easily. In the typical safety wire tying of bolt heads this is not an issue. Possibly anchor shackles need very good corrosion resistance and fatigue strength?
