getting licence from licence server

getting licence from licence server

getting licence from licence server

(OP)
i work in company and we have 19 solidworks licences, and sometimes there is problem to get that licence because there's to much people using it, so i have to click sw icon and counting that i'll jump if someone shutdown program.

so my question is: is there any macro or batch file, that does it for u, instead of clicking sw icon, and then clicking no (when u get screen with info about that there's no free licence). eg. i run that file and it try to run it until it get's the licence.

sorry for my english.

RE: getting licence from licence server

As far as I know there is no automated way to have SW start when a license becomes free. You'll just have to use the SolidNetWork License Administrator tool and keep refreshing it until a license is free then start SW.

Your only other options are to purchase some more licenses or borrow a license so you don't have to get one from the server all the time.
