Applying moments

(OP)
What is the best way to add a moment to a rectangular plate 6x2x1 in?

I am new to abaqus and I am not sure how to apply a moment in order to get rotation at one end of the plate.

Please give me the beginner instructions and advice.  Thanks much appreciate it a lot,
Jerry

RE: Applying moments

As in marriage, every couple have their moment. If you're not using shell elements with a rotational degree fo freedom to apply a moment, then apply two equal and opposite forces, otherwise known as a couple.
