getting errors when saving

getting errors when saving

getting errors when saving

(OP)
I have been having errors when saving my files. I have noticed this only in the drafting module while making drawings. I am currently using nx5.0.2.2

The file simply states that I am unable to save file (filename). At this point I have to have our network administrator replace my drawing file from the previous day because this corrupts my whole assy not allowing me to save my assy. I also want to state that we are using the Master model approach.

I have contacted UG help support and all I get is that there has been other incident reports filed and the programmers are currently working on it. Has anyone else had this problem or may know what is causing this.

Thanks

RE: getting errors when saving

If they gave you an IR number, then you should be able to look up the status online which includes brief descriptions of the issue, if you have a Webkey.

You will rarely end up finding out what the root cause was, even after being fixed.

Also expect it to take about 6-7 months before you even see a resolution (fix or not).

RE: getting errors when saving

We've just had the same issue with on 5.0.2.2. while saving a simple assembly (cam file pointing to master model). We called it in as well.
