Revolve Cut A Surface

Revolve Cut A Surface

(OP)
I am looking for a way to revolve cut a surface in one step?  I currently create a second surface using the revolve feature, and then use trim, and then delete the trimming surface.  Isn't there a simpler method?

RE: Revolve Cut A Surface

Not to my knowledge.

You can trim with planes

RE: Revolve Cut A Surface

After you trim a surface you would only need to hide the surface.

You can't cut a surface, you can only cut with a surface. Surfaces must be trimmed, not cut with other surfaces.
