Anyone have any web links to downloadable, detailed seismic faultline maps of the Puget Sound Basin of Washington State?  The ones in the USGS site are not detailed enough with respect to the location.

Thanks, but I've seen these maps before. For what I need, they just do not show enough detail as to how close a particular structure is to a fault line.   There must be a map that directly links roads to faultlines - i.e., overlays roads and faultlines.

RE: Seismic Faultline Maps

This might work if your site is in the city of Seattle:

Your best bet is to contact the local jurisdiction (i.e. City/County) to see if they have hard copy maps or information available online.

Many cities or counties in my area (So. Cal.) have Seismic Safety Elements or similar documents that are available to the public and would contain the information you are looking for.

Keep in mind the difference between a fault and a fault ZONE.  When in doubt, contact a good geotech with local experience.
