Electret Microphones w/ ICP conditioner?

Electret Microphones w/ ICP conditioner?

Electret Microphones w/ ICP conditioner?

(OP)
I was wondering if anyone has ever come up with a simple circuit to use a generic electret microphone capsule with an ICP/IEPE signal conditioner. It seems like it should be a simple thing but I wanted to check if anyone else had done it before I dug in and tried to figure it out. I am just trying to put together a cheap microphone for a one-time use - otherwise I'd buy a commercial one!

RE: Electret Microphones w/ ICP conditioner?

Soffa,

I put a 9V battery and decoupling capacitor and on/off switch into a small case with a BNC connector to connect electric microphone into 2120 analyzer AC input without using the ICP. I am not a circuit whiz, so I kept it simple and cheap (Radio Shack components). Straight ICP voltage is probably too high, so you would probably need a voltage divider or whatever to get microphone power.
