VBA Code to connect to Catia and edit string parameters

VBA Code to connect to Catia and edit string parameters

(OP)
I would like to write a piece of code at work that calls up a simple form and grabs string parameters from Catia so that they can be edited and then returned to Catia.
I used to program a lot in VB, but it was a long time ago.

If someone could post a short piece of code that shows the method of "talking" to Catia and pull string parameters from a part for editing (for filling in drawing formats) and return. It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

OK, Then maybe someone can direct me to a site that Catia experts like to use?

Thanks in advance.

www.coe.org - there's an entire forum devoted to programming
www.catiav5forum.de - this one also has a forum devoted to programming.
