API 579  fitnes for service.

This is becoming an important standard ,.. I believe it will replace ( at least partly) API 510, 570 and 653 !!

I came a cross a new edition (2007).

I wonder why on the API site= there was no draft norcomments or similar about this new revision ??.

Have I mised that !!

for the topics = metal loss local or general what are the major changes/ addition in this new edition (compared to the old revision)

I believe there plenty about creep and stress classification , but my question is more about the other topics related to corrosion or metal loss
