2008 Command Manager will not "float"

2008 Command Manager will not "float"

2008 Command Manager will not "float"

(OP)
Almost Friday.

I installed 2008x32 SP 0.1 on my home machine -Dell 690, ATI V3400, and Vista ultimate x32. The command manager (when activated), will appear next to the cursor, as a part is being created.

At work,I installed 2008 x64 SP 0.1 on XP x64, ATI V7100. When the command manager is activated, it stays "docked" above the feature tree and will not follow the cursor as a part is being created.

Both machines have enough muscle.

Is anyone else seeing this?

My VAR is looking into it.

RE: 2008 Command Manager will not "float"

Are you using the correct video card drivers?
8.391.2.1.1 for home.
8.353.1.1 for work.

cheers
