What is the difference between ladle analysis and check analysis ????

i.e.
I have LTCS and CE specification is given as 0.43% Max (Ladle) & 0.45% Max (Check)

RE: Carbon Equivalent & Carbon Content

A ladle analysis is a chemical analysis representative of the heat of material in the ladle, prior to pouring. It is common to evaluate three samples prior to pouring the heat.

I believe check analysis is a chemical analysis obtained for each separate heat or multiple lots that are poured from the ladle.

RE: Carbon Equivalent & Carbon Content

Check analyses are made on actual product forms produced from the heat(s).
