Flushing requirement in Centrifugal Pump Slurry Service

I would like to know if it exists a rule for estimation of volume of flushing (gpm) to seal A centrifugal pump or in my particular case, which is flushing requirement (gpm) for seal with a product at 567 F.? The pump will hand 1269 gpm of product with viscosity 3.91 cP

RE: Flushing requirement in Centrifugal Pump Slurry Service

What type of seal, what model pump etc would be helpful once you have this you can ask the seal manufacturer if it is a mechanical seal of the manufacturer if it is a convential packed stuffing box.

Artisi.... I did a preselection of pump Flowserve Titan TKL model. As you know, they are manufacturer of mechanical seals. In this moment, the problem is estimated consumption of flushing service, that must be added to normal pump capacity.

The best place to obtain this information is from the manufacturer Flowserve TKL - who better to advise you on the requirements
