BOM CONVERSION WRONG FOR SW2008

BOM CONVERSION WRONG FOR SW2008

(OP)
WHEN I OPEN UP A DRAWING FROM SW2007 SP4 THE BOM ENTRIES INCREASED DRAMATICALLY - (EG. FROM 24 ITEMS TO 75). THE CHECK BOX FOR THE SUBASSEMBLIES IS NOT BEING CONVERTED PROPERLY. I AM A FAN OF USING THE "DO NOT SHOW CHILD COMPS WHEN USED AS A SUBASSY." BUT IT SEEMS THAT SW2008 IS UNCHECKING EVERY SUBASSY WHEN IT IS CONVERTING THE FILES (OPENING THE DRAWINGS). IS THIS A BUG OR AM I GOING TO HAVE TO OPEN EACH SUBASSY FROM THE LAST 3 YEARS TO CHECK THE CHECKBOX BACK ON? BTW NEED TO UPDATE MY SIG. TO 2008

Sorry about the caps lock. I am more of a listener than an internet talker.  I only type out when I am in need of help.
