supply air damper response time

(OP)
Does anybody know how long it takes for a supply air damper
move after it takes an actuation signal? Let's say, now it is 70% open. It needs to open up to 80%. How long it would take? I just need some experimental values from your experinces.

Thanks.

RE: supply air damper response time

Hard to say because it depends on the size of the dampers; operator; pressure and weather there's a positive positioning relay on the operator. The fastest response would be with the relay because it supplies full system pressure on the operator.
