How to Lock Design Table in SolidWorks

How to Lock Design Table in SolidWorks

(OP)
Hi friends,
Good day....!

Need to lock the design table once I finalize the design configs so that unknown person is not able to change the Design table parameters.

Is there any option to lock the design table in SW?

Thanks...!

Not to sure what you mean by 'lock', but you can block model updates to the design table by changing the option on the design table properties in the part / assembly.

Murugan,

Since the design table is an Excel spreadsheet you can probably [i]protect[\i] the sheet with a password.

You should also be able to set the SW file to Read Only.

cheers

RE: How to Lock Design Table in SolidWorks

right click on your design table, Edit feature, Edit control, Block model edits that would update the design table.
