A449 or A194 2H Nuts

A449 or A194 2H Nuts

(OP)
I am specifying some A449 solid rods with 2" of thread on each end.  I have a table from American Fastener that lists bolt & nut specifications.  In the table it lists A449 bolts but no AA449 nuts.

Do I specify an A449 nut?  Or do I specify an A194 2H nut, which like an A449 bolt, is medium carbon steel quenched & tempered?

RE: A449 or A194 2H Nuts

A 449 is a bolt standard, not a nut standard.  The "suitable nut" standard per A 449 is A 563.  (And washers should be F 436 type 1 or 3.)
