Does anyone know where I can find information regarding low temperature toughness values for 1045 steel and high-leaded tin bronzes (C93200 and C93700)?

I'm thinking 1045 in the quenched and tempered condition should have good low temperature toughness at -42°C, but I do not have any information to back it up.

I can't find any information on the bronzes.  Are they usually not used at low temperatures such as -42°C?

1045 Q&T at -42 C will not have appreciable toughness, especially if it is not ordered to a fine-grain practice with extremely low S & P (think < 0.010 for both).  What kind of strength does the application require?  What is the maximum thickness or section size of the component(s) in question?  Alloys like 4137, 4340, 8740, and 10B21 are used for low temperature fasteners requiring good toughness at temperatures as low as -70 to -100 C.  ASTM A 320 is a good reference to consult.
