That could be useful,

Link:

http://www.nfpa.org/aboutthecodes/list_of_codes_and_standards.asp

Scroll to find the standard of interest and simply click the link of that standard number.  On the next page that comes up, you must scroll down to the area where it says: "Additional Information about this document:" and then click on the link that reads " View the XXXX edition of this document".  That will take you to NFPA's accessing agreement.  Click “I agree” to accept the agreement.  The next page gives you brief instructions, along with a highlighted title of the standard.  Click on that highlighted title link and you will then be able to view the entire standard on your pc.

If you really need a copy, it's always possible to use
Print Screen, and paste in the Paint software.

Thanks for the link Bob - useful reference.

RE: Read Only NFPA Standards

I own copies but I use that a lot on my work laptop (so that I don't have to devote HDD space). A trick is, don't make a bookmark link directly to the final page before you launch the viewer, it won't work. Make your link go to the agreement page only, because it requires acknowledgment every time you visit.

RE: Read Only NFPA Standards

Thanks.  At the bottom of the screen are standard looking arrow buttons for next/previous/last etc.

There is also a button that looks like this:

Quote (button):

1---
2---
3---

A very helpful button for reading large documents.  Let's you view the outline and jump to any section number.
