i need to put a degree and plus minus symbol in a table, but typing %pm doenst work. can it be done?

Hi

use Alt-Key and key in the digits by using the numeric keypad:

Alt+0176 = Degree
Alt+0177 = plus/minus

These ALT-codes show up in your character table. Highlight the symbol you want, at the bottom of the window the ALT-code will show.
