Civil PE in California

Civil PE in California

Civil PE in California

(OP)
Hello There

I have completed by BS in Civil Engineering and MS in Environmental. I have been working for the last 4-5 years in soil and groundwater remediation and have lost touch with either Civil Engg or the Water/Waste Water portions of Environmental. My questions is for which "depth" exam to prepare for? Environmental or Water Resources? Does Environmental depth exam have topics on air quality etc (which will be more helpful for me)?

I have done by BS from outside the US and was wondering if there is a list of undergrad text books to start preparing for PE? I completely lost touch with Civil Engg and need to brush up each and every topic.

Thanks

RE: Civil PE in California

The PE exam is identical in all states.  Get the Lindburg Civil Engineering Reference Manual as that's all you'll need in terms of text books and if you go online on the NCEES site you will be able to find exactly which topics are covered in each exam.
