(OP)
I have to do commission a centrifugal extractor, hence am looking for a suitable emulsion system to challenge the new equipment during commissioning work. Any suggestion on a good, easy to make/obtain emulsion system? Is there any commercially available emulsion I can use?

I am considering solvent(such as MIBK or ethyl acetate)/water but not sure what binder/emulsifier to use?

I look forward to your suggestions.

RE: centrifugal extractor, emulsion

I wonder whether salad dressings O/W emulsions are appropriate.

BTW, MiBK and EA are both partially soluble in water, and have low flash points.
