Plane Normal to Screen

Plane Normal to Screen

Plane Normal to Screen

(OP)
Sorry if this has been discussed.  Everytime I use the search I never get results, even if it is a subject that is actually there, tested it.

Here is my question.  Can you make a plane, axis etc. that is normal to the screen?  You can do it in UG and the person here who is asking says it can be done in V4.  Any ideas?

Help on the seach issue would be great too.

Ross.

RE: Plane Normal to Screen

Plane Definition by Equation provides Normal to compass and Parallel to sreen options.

RE: Plane Normal to Screen

No function to create plane normal to screen that i know of. It is better to create elements to define the position of the desired plane.

RE: Plane Normal to Screen

Plane Definition by Equation provides Normal to compass and Parallel to sreen options, within V5.

PLANE>PRL WINW provides a plane parallel to screen in V4.

Yes, adminhost, it's always better to define your position, and knowing the i,j,k value of your viewing vector can sometimes be of assistance in determining that definition.
