Can anyone tell me where to find the standard acceptable TIR tolerance for TG&P shafting?

RE: SHAFT TIR

I don't have the numbers but there are standards put out by AISI/SAE and probably others, but your tolerances are set by what your bar producer can achieve.
Anytime you request a tightening of a tolerance for any of the measured parameters you will generate an adder to your price. We used several suppliers for TG&P/TG bar based on their capabilities.
