Problem saving and reusing Note Favorite.

Problem saving and reusing Note Favorite.

Problem saving and reusing Note Favorite.

I'm saving a Note to the Design Library. The Note works fine with the exception of the last line of the Note. The last part of my Note is an inserted geometric tolerance. I get an error that says: #error broken link. What am I doing to cause this error?

I'm still not getting it. I push the Link To File button and up comes a dialog box that wants me to Link To Property. What Property do I link my note to so I don't get the error? Why would I have to Link To Property to put a note in a drawing?

RE: Problem saving and reusing Note Favorite.

I would guess this is a limitation of SW; not being able to mix geometric tolerances with a note.

If you look at the file types in the Annotations section of the Design Library, each type of favourite has its own extension;
.sldgtolfvt = geometric tolerance
.sldsffvt = surface finish
.sldweldfvt = weld
.sldblk = regular block comprising geometry and text
.sldnotefvt = regular note comprising text only

Have you asked your VAR about this?

cheers
