Frustrating problem we've encountered on a couple machines here, but works fine on others.

We have page setups built for the various printers in the office, that sets printer, paper size, plot style, scale, etc. But, on some workstations, when you click on the page setup name that you want, it gets all the settings correctly changed, but the page setup name goes back to <none>.

Any ideas on this one appreciated, it's got a couple people really irked because it doesn't do what they want it to.

RE: Acad 08 won't hold page setup name

have you tried saving the page setup name as your default that way every time it gooes to the desired page setup

Tried setting it as default as a test, but it didn't work.

Even if it would have, would still be a pain, as we have numerous different clients, and they all have separate setups, not to mention 3 different paper sizes that we use almost daily.

We've thought about having the page setup named the same, with different settings, depending on the client standards (.ctb, 11x17 vs D size, etc) but have run into issues with that, with the page setup getting pulled from the wrong file, so it prints with the wrong settings, but tougher to tell if they're all called Default11x17, or Default24x36, etc.
