Verification of boilers minimum wall thickness

Verification of boilers minimum wall thickness

Verification of boilers minimum wall thickness

(OP)
Hi,
Does anyone know which is the standard for calculate the minimum wall thickness of a boiler (glicol regenerator)?

And which standard I have to use for evaluate a weld defect in it´s fire tube?

Sorry about my English and thank you.

RE: Verification of boilers minimum wall thickness

Could be any number of boiler standards - US (like ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, or other international standard). You need to do some background research based on the location of the boiler.

Once you inform us of the standard, more information can be provided.
