NX5 losing dimensions

NX5 losing dimensions

NX5 losing dimensions

(OP)
We have recently upgraded to NX5 and have a few weird problems.

When creating drawings (start blank part - insert part) everything seems to work fine and we are able to create the drawing. If we go back to the model and make an update to the part we lose most if not all dimensions in the drawing. What could be causing this?

The other thing we have noticed is that the keyboard number pad doesn't work in most dialog windows. The only time it seems to work is when using the fraction/two lines of text (say for +/- tolerances) in the text editor.

Any help would be appreciated.

RE: NX5 losing dimensions

Question: How are the parts being updated? ...are the modelers editing dimensions, or deleting features and re-creating?

CAD should pay for itself, shouldn't it?

Shadowspawn, in my most recent instance, a fillet was added to the model. When switching back to the drawing, most of the dimensions were gone, including dimensions that were not associated with the area where the fillet was added.
