PFTA Question

PFTA Question

PFTA Question

(OP)
I have already created FTA for parts inside of a product.  I want to create a Annotation set on the product level that has a capture that will show all of the annotations contained in the parts of that product in an ISO view.  Has anybody been able to do this without recreating new annotations inside of the product level annotation set?  It seems to me while creating a capture you cannot hide/unhide items outside of its annotation set.  Is this correct?

RE: PFTA Question

Can you not use the "Filter" command to activate (Hide/Unhide) the annotations you want, then create a capture.

RE: PFTA Question

(OP)
I have tried hiding/unhiding annotations from other parts while creating a capture at the product level.  If I rehide the annotations I want to see in that capture and then try to view it, it does not unhide the annotations like I want it to.  I don't really see the difference between the Product level FTA and the Part level FTA other than one is a part and one is a product.  Why the two workbenches?
