Rendering question
Rendering question
(OP)
For those of you that do a lot of rendering - how do I make a simple, white backround + shades render, very similar to the one that appears on my screen while I work? Something like this:

Of course with materials and all, this is just colours. I know how to put the white backround and everything, but I always have to play for hours with the lights so that it doesn't look dark. Do you have a tip?
And say the only way is playing with the render for hours, is there any way I can save the result - lights, backround, everything? So that I don't have to do it over and over? Saving a template would do the trick?
I work with Solidworks 2007 sp0.0. I remember that when I used to work with 2005 or less, it was very easy to get a simple image. Now I keep getting lost.

RE: Rendering question
Once you have everything set the way you like it (lighting, scene set up, etc) you can either save the file as an assembly an inert the files you want to render into that assembly in the future or you can save your own custom scene (you can do this in the scene editor) so you can apply the settings to files in the future by simply dragging and dropping the scene from the task pane.
