Hi all
I am using NX5. One time I was drawing my project suddenly the power is lost. Now when I open this file again I see my project on preview window. But the program is loading only 45% and than hang up (I have waited for a long time but still can't not open) . Could you please some one help me to result this problem?

RE: Opening problem

Velto,

If you're using Teamcenter you may be in luck. It keeps your past four saves on record. I'd have to check later if you need to know how to retrieve that as I can only remember when I have the windows open in front of me, and I am not in the office for the weekend now.

Otherwise it sounds like your file is corrupted. It may be possible to send to UGS for a look, and they may wish to have the information if there is a bug that they can address. In the short term I hope you've a backup copy.

Try different load options when loading the file, (like loading with no components and turning partial loading on or off). If it is an assembly perhaps only one component has the problem. If it is a component try creating a new empty part file and add the component to it to make an assembly. You may be able to sneak up on the problem and/or extract something of use from the damaged file. At the very least you may get different errors when trying to load it different ways and that could be informative in itself.

Regards

Hudson
