Tower Grounding Calculator / Software

(OP)
Has anyone seen, or have a spreadsheet or free software to calculate ground grid resistance for a ring of ground rods around a (wind) tower foundation?  I have the formulas for multiple rods in a straight line.  I want to try several different configuration for a given soil resistivity and depth.

RE: Tower Grounding Calculator / Software

Have you looked at IEEE 80?  While it is directed at substations, I think the principles apply to all situations.  You might be able to develop your own spreadsheet or MathCAD program from the info provided there.

It has been several years since I have looked for a program, but I didn't find one that was reasonably priced, so we developed our own as noted above.  IF you find one out there, I would be interested as well.

XpertEarth developed by Synergy Xpertsol (www.xpertsol.com)evaluates soil resistivity-two layer, electrode resistance for rods(single, three in st line, triangle, multiple in square, circle etc.), strips, wires, plates for homogeneous and non homogeneos soils and substation earth mat design as per IEEE 80. Price is small.
