hello everybody

i need some help again :)

i'm trying to make screenshots of models in I-DEAS using
xwd command or xview. But i always get this fuzzy image:

It should look like this:

How can i make good quality screenshots of models in I-DEAS on HP-UX 11i. Did anyone had similar problem?

1.  You can use ideas print utility, just make sure that you set quality of jpeg to at least 95%.

2.  I use GIMP. It's a free utility and it's part of gnome desktop. On HPUX it is usually installed in /opt/gnome/ and all binaries are in bin directory. There is all bunch of useful applications there, picture viewer, screensaver, text and spreadsheet editors...
In case it didn't come preloaded on your machine, you can download it and use it for free :).

i-deas print utility sucks. (it doesn't make a good quality image) :)
Now i managed to get a screencapture utility from HP-UX version 10.20. It works fine on 11.11 and i can make a good quality screenshots :D
