SE II test

SE II test

SE II test

(OP)
I am working as a structural engineer in Texas. I will take SE I test this month. I would like to take SE II test next spring. Does anybody know whether there is any requirement for taking this test? Do I need to go to California to take the exam? I asked Texas board this question but they are not answering.

Thanks a lot.

RE: SE II test

It looks like the SE2 is offered in Texas-

It also looks like scheduling for the SE2 is done through the Texas board according to above. I wouldn't go to California to take the SE2 if you can take it in Texas.

RE: SE II test

I took the SE1 and SE2 in Nebraska.

It is usually proctored by the local engineering board or NCEES and is offered in numerous locations...I think even in most states if not all states.

Thanks Haynewp and JAE for the valuable information.
