Treatment of bleeding of double dressed surfacing road section

(OP)
I'm now dealing with  double dressed surfacing road works.Unfortunately during spreading of the bitumen at overlapping part it happens the section to have an access  bitumen. This phenomena happened at the centre of the road,a strip of about 40cm wide.I'm planning to blot these sections with crusher dust free of fines(say 6mm to 5mm)particle size.Ifind it difficult to use sand as it may not perform properly as the project road is found in hot and dry climate zone which receive rains only once a year.Is there any alternative combat this problem, please assist.
