I was wondering is there any way to lock in a size of a flat pattern in a .dwg. The problem im having is when there is more than one size in a table for a flat pattern. The blank can only be inserted under a a active member not a specific size.

RE: Flat Pattern in Inventor 2008

Your post on the other forum is likely to get you a better response winky smile

Well that was my post and there was no answer from them.

RE: Flat Pattern in Inventor 2008

Your post generated comment from Andrew Faix(Autodesk) and Teun Ham.  You might not have got the answer you wanted, but your message was not ignored.

For Inventor use either the Autodesk Inventor forums or Sean Dotsons mCADForums.com .

Is there any way to get in touch with guys from autodesk that help people.

RE: Flat Pattern in Inventor 2008

If you have a subscription you can contact them through subscription support on their website, you can talk to your VAR and see if they can help you (best of luck), or you can do exactly what you have already done and post in the Adesk message board. Developers and support personnel do read the message boards (Andrew Faix has been very helpful to me on several occasions). Try to explain your issue as completely as you can and include software and hardware specs in your post.
