Fastener Flexibility In Composite Joints

(OP)
I have stumbled across a part of Cranfields Research library, where you can download Phd, Masters thesis etc.
One that caught my eye was by Blong Siong, which is "Fastener flexibility in composite joints for aerospace structures". It follows on from Lee Franks thesis that has links abounding on eng-tips.

The direct link to Siong's thesis is:

https://dspace.lib.cranfield.ac.uk/bitstream/1826/1627/1/Siong-2006.pdf

Or you could have a look through a couple of thousand titles in:

https://dspace.lib.cranfield.ac.uk/browse-title

Or more specifically within the School of engineering:

https://dspace.lib.cranfield.ac.uk/handle/1826/16/browse-title

https://dspace.lib.cranfield.ac.uk/bitstream/1826/1627/1/Siong-2006.pdf

Every little helps.

RE: Fastener Flexibility In Composite Joints

Far be it from me to look a gift horse to the mouth (since this Siong thesis is free, who am I to complain, right?); nevertheless, is anyone else as bothered by I am by the "Thesis Health Warning" on the 3rd page of this Siong PDF?
