Hello :

Does anybody know the effect of high temperature application (80-90 C)OF BRONZE ALLOY C93800 used as bushing material ?

Note ; A synthetic lubricant will be used to keep the temperature range under control.

RE: Effect of temperature on C93800 bronze alloy.

Presuming bearing loads are acceptable for this application, we have bronze bearings for some of our large FD fans that have not been a problem. The bearing housings contain an oil reservoir and are air cooled. Operating temperatures can be as high as 175 deg F, and I have seen no problems in service.
