Shaded idw views

Hi folks, does anyone know why we get 'fuzzy' edges when applying a shaded idw views, looks all smudged when you zoom in. It reminds me when i was about 6 years old trying to paint by numbers and not succeeding! Dont recall this happening with release 10.Currently using Inventor 2008 pro on 2GHz duo core, nvidia quadro fx 1500, 2gig ram
Thanks in advance

RE: Shaded idw views

I believe it has to do with the change from OpenGL to Direct3D. You can fix this by selecting Tools\Document Settings, then selecting the Drawing tab, then changing "use Bitmap For Shaded Views" from "Always" to "Offline Only".
