Polysorb Plastic Disc Springs

I hope I’m not stepping on anyone’s toes or breaking any board rules.

There is a company called igus and I am thinking of using some of their products in a machine that I’m looking at producing. I need an ability to have a spring loaded hub assembly and I’m considering using their JTEM disk springs, they look as if they’ll work well for what I need. Has anyone here had experience with their springs or similar springs and what is your take on them?

Thanks for your 3rd party input.

RE: Polysorb Plastic Disc Springs

I have never used them for springs.  In fact, I never knew they made springs....  I have however, used them for plastic bushings to reduce lash in a steering column.  I think they are a good company to work with and they provided quality parts.

The little bit that I have seen from them has really impressed the mess out of me; some of their carriage systems and bearings are just amazing. My plan is to use their thrust bearing on the afore mentioned milling machine with their spring.

And thanks again for your help and input.
