Pull out performance of Plastite screw in stnadard materials

Pull out performance of Plastite screw in stnadard materials

(OP)
OK guys...I've now spent about 1 hour combing the web trying to find "pull out" performance data on plastite screws in ABS.  STRIKE OUT! The only thing I can find is data on the Reminc site fora single size (#8) in 2 materials.

With the widespread use of these fasteners, I'm wondering if anyone has seen standard performance data on them (assuming the the boss is designed "as prescribed" by the screw manufacturers).  In particular, I'm looking for #2 Plastites in ABS with ~ 1/4" engagement.  I can think of a thousand reasons why the results might vary from what is published, but to not have ANYTHING published as a starting point feels like I must be missing something.

Any help?

Lots of formulae here:

May be useful.

Most makers do not publish such data as it might give their competition an advantage. Do not the manufacturers know? (There again, there must be about 10,000 sorts of ABS so any data will be guesswork)

Cheers

REMINC has extensive data on their products.  Just contact them for more information.
